The
premium grade steel front door available on Oak Creek homes offers
durable, long lasting quality construction along with numerous
comfort and convenience features. For starters, our steel
house-type front door utilizes a full 36 x 80 inch residential door
jamb size. That's wider and taller than typical manufactured
home doors. Vinyl clad steel construction gives a mar resistant,
durable, beautiful look. Oak Creek uses solid lumber door
jams, not particle board jams. For your security, all our
steel doors have a deadbolt lock. In addition, white painted
storm doors are available for maximum weather protection and energy
efficiency.

Residential
Passage Doors, Jambs, Hardware.
You'll
find bright brass door knobs, hardware and floor mounted door stops,
not plastic, in our homes. We use prefinished solid door jamb
material -- no unsightly raw edges of panel strips in doorway of an
Oak Creek home. With full 1 - 3/8 inch thick construction, our
passage doors are more solid and resist warping better than cheaper
1 inch doors. Doors are available in oak wood grain or white
decorator finishes. Heavy duty 150 lb. door hinges are
standard on all Oak Creek homes and six panel "Colonist"
passage doors is a very popular option. Perimeter door stop
trim is provided on all room entry doors. These quality
materials will provide years of lasting beauty, plus the privacy and
comfort you need to really feel at home.

Custom-Made
Cabinets.
Constructed
of top quality materials and fully finished inside and out, Oak
Creek cabinets feature high quality doors, center shelves in kitchen
base cabinets, base shelving, drawers over doors design, tilt-out
sink mini-bin storage, and decorative mouldings. Cabinet face
frames, shelves and sides are made from
prefinished MDF board. It's much harder, smoother and stronger
than particle board or paneling. Only top grades of Wilson Art
or Formica laminates are used on counter tops. For added
decor, hand laid and grouted ceramic tile tops, edges or
backsplashes and solid oak cabinets doors and face frames are available
options in kitchens or baths. Year in and year out, you'll
enjoy the luxury of quality working surfaces and spacious,
functional and beautiful cabinetry.

Finished, and Trimmed Closets and Pantries.
Walk
into lots of storage with Oak Creek's spacious walk-in bedroom
closets and wardrobes, linen closets and cabinets, and kitchen
pantries. There's nothing to hide in our closets. All
are fully lined, finished and trimmed with top-quality materials and
finishes. We never use factory seconds or scrap materials in
our closets and wardrobes or any place else in our homes.
Closet shelves are constructed as in site built homes. with solid
3/4" painted shelving. 1 - 3/8" diameter wooden
closet poles, and residential steel shelf support brackets.

Duty Drawer Construction.
No
other home manufacturer builds a heavier, more durable drawer
system. Our drawers are strong inside, yet decorative on the
outside with deluxe raised panel fronts. A dual steel side
mounted telescoping drawer guide allows for years of smoother
operation and heavy loads. It's far superior to single center
mount drawer guides used in most homes. The ever popular
drawers over door cabinet design provides for 50% more drawer space
than other brands of homes. The drawer sides are a thick 1/2
inch (not the commonly used 1/4 inch). prefinished in a smooth,
clean white finish. Kitchen sink fronts include tilt-out
"mini-bin" storage trays. Convenient, durable, high
capacity drawer storage for years of maintenance free operation.

Upgrade
Quality Carpet Installation.
It's
beautiful and durable! High quality Stain Resistant Carpet is
installed in all Oak Creek homes at the end of construction to
reduce dirt and excessive wear during production or installation of
each home. All carpet is installed with residential tack strip
-- not stapled to the floor! It's 100% continuous filament
heat set nylon pile "action backed" carpet. Optional
"StainMaster or Anso" stain control features are also
available in the upper grades of carpet. Our carpet is
installed over a high density rebond pad for longer wear life of
your carpet and pad, much superior to foam pad installations.
All multi-section homes carpeting is installed after the home
is completely install on your site. With proper care, you can
enjoy the comfort and beauty of your carpet of years to come.
